Both the Men's and Women's Pointin Competitions were cancelled due to the extreme weather event that prevented a number of players and officials arriving in Dunedin on Friday, 4 October.
National Mixed Doubles Championship
Date: 5-6 October 2024
Venue: Dunedin City Pétanque club

Tournament Director: Stefany Frost
Qualifying format: 6 round Swiss, 50 minute games plus 1 end
Knockout: Sections of 8 teams, quarter-finals, semi-finals & final, 60 minute games plus 1 end. Trophy Final untimed.
Due to the extreme weather event that prevented a number of players and officials arriving in Dunedin on Frida, the decision was made to start play at 1:00pm on Saturday. The number of rounds was reduced from seven to six and the time limit was reduced to 50min for the Swiss qualification.
